The 黑料正能量 Special Education Department will present Transitioning from Preschool to School-Age Services, a special education parent workshop, on Tuesday, February 6, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Long Branch Elementary (4035 Long Branch Road).
LCSD Committee on Preschool Special Education Chairperson Gina Bedard, Director of Elementary Special Education Lisa Geraci-Civiletto and Executive Director of Special Education Jonna Johnson will provide information regarding the transition process from preschool to kindergarten special education services for families that have a preschooler eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2024. There will be a question and answer session with a panel of professionals including a special education teacher, general education teacher, school psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and physical therapist.
